Here we have one of my grandfathers, who, at the age of 92, has decided to sell off three of his many rotavators. This is one of them. It is a Norlett machine of unknown vintage with a 4 HP Briggs and Stratton engine.

It has 2 pairs of tines in used condition. They still have plenty of life left in them. It has approximately a 28-inch digging width. The engine has had a recent service with a new jet, plug and oil change.

It starts, usually, on the first attempt with no smoke and pulls strongly. The pull-start/cover isn't original as the engine had some squealing problems and was replaced. It looks like someone has welded a replacement pull start onto that cover. It isn't pretty, but it gets the job done.

It also looks like someone has repaired the frame underneath the engine at some point in the past. As far as both I and my grandfather know, it was like that when he got it.

We also have the original cowling that came with the engine (which was broken and we replaced it with the one that was causing it to squeal). The handle bars rotate so you can walk beside the machine and also have 3 height settings. It also has the depth gauge, which seems to always be missing on the ones I've seen for sale on here. The wheels, however are not as far as I can tell, original but the frame the wheels are attached to is.

It also has the correct retainer and has different heights for the wheel set. It is a heavy machine so a van or trailer is recommended to collect and there is assistance to load it. Any questions please message me and I'll do my upmost to answer them promptly. I do have videos on it starting, running and digging which I'm more than happy to share with prospective purchasers.
