Simplicity Ride on Lawn Mower 3108.. 8hp Briggs and Stratton Electric start. This a Late 80's Model. Bought this over the winter to play with and maybe cut a bit around here but a bigger Husqvarna came a long recently so surplus to requirement.

I got this as a Non-runner. Stripped it down to the chassis and built it back up again. The previous owner had looked after it in some fashion but one or two things went back differently and runs and cuts nicely now, after a good clean and service.

The 8hp Briggs and Stratton Engine engine was fully serviced as their was little wrong with it, just a bit unloved, as was the Carburetor, new gaskets etc. New filters, oils and belts all round. The cutting belt cold be a bit tighter if you have a deep lawn but good as is if you are on top of yours. Starts an the button and Chugs away nicely. Clutch works well as do the brakes. The Electric start is perfect. (Two Keys as I fitted a new ignition). 5 forward gears all good, Revere's good.

Tyre's OK, Not new but will be OK for a while longer. I have left the cosmetics, just cleaned as is as would make a lovely'tinkering' project and someone that simply wants a little functional toy to play with with the odd, tighten here and their occasionally. Great little turning Circle so can cope with a small garden.

I say this but the previous owner had put a turning limiter on it to the right for some reason. I would take this off but you may want it left. I have downloaded and printed out the manuals for the engine, mower and parts list for ordering parts.

I have never used the Back Box but in tact. It is missing two down pipes that would have to be sourced if you wanted to use it but I found it very Ugly so haven't featured it much.

Will also need to source a rubber pedal that seems to be a bit illusive but sure one will pop up in time. Good honest little bit of history and would love to see it go to a nice home and someone to take it up the next level Cosmetically Mechanically all good. Will upload a video later today of it starting, going and cutting.
